Change & Cancellation policy
In case of change or cancellation of a ticket, the customer is obliged to inform myFerryTickets.gr in writing, in order to proceed in any action. Ticket changes or cancellations are made daily Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00 (excluding holidays), no later than 48 hours before departure. For cases less than 48 hours, the customer must contact directly the offices of myFerryTickets.gr/Dimidis Tours in Athens or the local the main offices of the ferry company. Otherwise, the responsibility shall encumber the user himself. MyFerryTickets.gr is obliged to follow the policy of the respective shipping company in cases of requests for cancellation or change of tickets. The terms of cancellation and change of tickets are different for each ferry company. In case you choose to make a change or cancellation in the reservation, a fee of two euros (2 €) per ticket is applied which covers the operating costs, like the banking transaction costs, for the service offered. Since this process involves canceling and re-issuing tickets, there may be cancellation fees depending on the policy of each ferry company. The service fee is not refunded to the customer.
General cancellation policy of ferry tickets:
· Up to 14 days (14x24hours) prior the departure: 100% fare refund or change to open date
· Up to 7 days(7x24hours) prior the departure: 75% fare refund or change to open date
· Up to 24 hours prior the departure: 50% fare refund or change to open date
· No fare is refundable for any cancellations made less than 12 hours before departure or non show.
· Special offer ferry tickets can’t be canceled, and the dates can’t be changed or converted to open.
· Tickets can also be converted into open date tickets at least 12 hours before departure (for another day/time for a year with the same company without penalty only the fare difference).
· Open ticket must be used within a year from the date of issue.
· After the departure of the ferry, tickets are non-refundable and non-changeable to open date.
All ferry tickets issue from myFerryTickets.gr can be canceled according to the cancellation terms, in the following ways:
· For ticket that have NOT been received, passenger can request the cancellation via e-mail at info@myferrytickets.gr from the account you used with the reservation details (name of the passenger, date of travel, destination) and your full contact details. After that, the amount of the refund will be transferred from myFerryTickets.gr to the card, which is used during the transaction.
· For ticket that have been received, the passenger must present the tickets the offices of myFerryTickets.gr/Dimidis Tours or the local the main offices of the ferry company in order to make all the procedure and then the refund will be transferred from myFerryTickets.gr to the customer’s card, which it used during the transaction.
